Summer Camp 2020

“Camping is cool!” Of course jumping off the blob on a hot summer day will cool just about anyone off.  Boy Scouts from all over North Texas enjoy fun-filled summers at Camp Constantin on Possum Kingdom Lake.

DATES: June 21st – June 27th

LOCATION: summer camp is $285 for each scout and 175 for each adult and that is before any camperships.

COST: $285 for each scout and $175 for each adult (before any camperships). Camperships cover 50% and you can do the fundraisers to cover the rest.

MERIT BADGES: Scouts should start determining which merit badges they want as some of them will fill up quickly. Highly suggest new scouts to select easier ones such as basketry, art, etc. If a scout doesn’t have First Aid, they should select that as it is a requirement to do many other merit badges and for safety in the troop all scouts should have that training.

The list of available merit badges can be found in the Leaders Guide at

The Jack D. Furst Aquatic Base is famous for its waterskiing program featuring a fleet of ski boats for skiing some of the very best water in Texas.

Weekend camping is offered at Camp Constantin year round except during the summer months. Programs include: camping, hiking to Johnson Peak, canoeing, rowing and shooting sports.

While at Camp Constantin you also might want to wet a fishing line. Bring your rod and some tackle and you may pull in one of the abundant striper or bass from this clear lake.
